A survivor of sexual assault or abuse may experience a wide range of emotions. Often, a person may have increased fear, anxiety, or feel like they’ve lost their safety net. It is okay to feel what you feel. Healthfirst will help navigate those thoughts and feelings in a safe environment that is patient centered, and trauma informed.

All sexual assault exams are provided to the patient at no cost and may or may not include the following:

  • Medical evaluation
  • Health history/account history
  • Evidence collection
  • Photography
  • Medication to prevent pregnancy and STI
  • nPEP for HIV exposure
  • Pre-medication labs
  • Mental health referrals
  • Follow up care and testing
